What ".dwg" version do I "save as" in AutoCAD LT 2011 to allow the resulting file to be opened by AutoSketch 10?
Options I've tried are 2010, 2007, 2004, 2000 and in either .dwg or .dxf format but AutoSketch 10 cannot open them.
I get "Input error processing" followed by unknown file type" errors, or the file open process appears to stop (doesn't lock up) if the file results in a "this drawing contains 3-D entities that are being ignored".
Is there something I'm missing here?

Play around with flattening the drawing onto a single layer, exploding all elements, etc. and see if you get anywhere.
I wonder if a DXF/DWG converting program would fix it, i.e. open a DXF > convert to DWG (or something else) > convert back to DXF > open in AS10

What type of dwg file had to be created in Autocad in order for you to be able to open in Autosketch 10?
