Walter,
Yes it is a graphics adapter problem, but may not be one that can be solved.
When I read this I was surprised that it worked at all. AS 2.1 is a true 16
bit application and you are using it with a true 32-bit operating system and
video card. The problem you are seeing is in the addressing in memory
locations assigned by AS and the video card (driver). Newer or older drivers
may not help.
