White lines appear in solid hatches

I have been trying to create simple color block plans, and when I save to PDF white lines appear zig-zagging back and forth across each hatch. Has anyone experienced this with Autocad 2011 for Mac ? If so, do you have a fix? And if not, what driver/method do you use when saving to a PDF? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

If you mean additional lines inside solid hatch when you print DWG to PDF with transparency - there is a defect in AotoCAD for Mac. Please look at this thread: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-for-Mac/PDF-transparent-colour-issue/m-p/3178626/highlight/tru...

Still a "feature" in 2015 ... this worked for me Hatch the boundary with a solid fill TWICE (or just copy the hatch by zero displacement) Ensure the ANGLE of one of the solid hatches is zero and the other is 90 Print to PDF and the white lines are gone HTH

Hi,

But how do you change the angle of the solid hatch?
It seems impossible.

I agree that the angle of a solid hatch fill has no physical significance, but the angle property is there, it can be changed and hatching twice (once @ 0° and again @ 90°) removed the white lines ... for me
