I am converting from a PC with AutoCAD LT 2008 to a Mac with AutoCAD LT 2013. I want to take a previously created Plot Table and save it to the new computer and software. I can't locate the file to save the Plot Table to. Looking for help.
May find more relevant help here:
The Plot file on the current OS would be under something like this; assuming XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD LT 2008\R13\enu\Plotters
On Mac side you have to put Plot Style table file to
"~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/roaming/AutoCAD LT 2013 Standalone/R19.0/enu/Plotters/Plot Styles" folder, the Library folder is in your Home folder an in Lion OS it is hidden by default, you can to get into it by holding down the Option while you select Finder's "Go" menu.
I'm curious - does the options editor/dialog allow for changing the location of plot styles, and does it support multiple folders?
Thanks, that helps. I think a lot of basic users may find it easier to locate the plot styles somewhere they are more familiar with and point the system there, rather than digging down to a system folder which may be hidden.
Thank you Maxim! I have been trying to get in here for the past two hours. Knew where i wanted to go but not how to unlock the door... thanks again!
Why has this been made so inaccessible? I am in the process of migrating from LT'10 on Win 7 via Bootcamp to LT '13 on Mac.
