Please help!
I have just started using AutoCAD LT 2012 for Mac at work. I am familiar with AutoCAD LT 2012 for PC.
The SNAP mode is toggling on withouth my input. It even does it during a command - in particular when I am using LINE. This is very frustrating and slowing me down considerably.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi mroffey,
Looks like you have SNAP turned on every time. You can check this on Status bar or in Drafting Settings dialog (DSETTINGS):
This is new behavoir of SNAP mode in AC LT for Mac (and in full AC 2012 versions for both Win and Mac):
SNAP activates now only during command execution (i.e. inside drawing or editing command). If no command active and SNAP is ON - you can not see results of SNAP when you move mouse over drawing area.

Maxim,
I've turned SNAP mode off using the status bar, using F9, and using the drafting settings options. No matter what I do, it turns it self back on the next time I enter a drawing command.
The only time it doesn't automatically turn on is if I've already used a drawing command once and am using the space bar to launch it again.
For instance:
SNAP mode is off.
I type "L" or pick the line tool from the menu.
Once I pick my first point, SNAP mode automatically turns on.
I turn SNAP mode off and pick my second point.
If, I use space bar to start drawing a second line, SNAP mode stays off while I draw that line.
If, after my first line, I draw something else, like a rectangle, a polyline, etc, SNAP mode turns itself back on.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I just spoke with IT. I am using a Mircosoft mouse, so there is a 3rd party driver for it, but this problem predates installing the mouse. It was happening with the standard apple mouse that came with the computer.
