Problems with plotting on larger papersize

I made a page setup with a custom papersize of 2000x914mm. Fine so far. The printdialog however reports a constraint: "paper size is out of printer specifications (see Page Setup dialog)" and AC refuses to plot correctly. My colleagues on Windows can plot on this size on the same  HPT790ps so the plotter is not the bottleneck. Any ideas?

Hi,

Have you checked, that you enter correct numbers for custom paper size? In Mac OS all fields in Print/Plot setup are in cm, not in mm, so if you want 2000x914 mm paper size, you have to enter 200x91.4 cm

Hi Maxim,

Yes i made the paper in cm.

Now at home i try a paper of 91,4 x 200 cm (instead of 200 x 91,4 cm) and the constraint has disappeared. Unfortunately here I am not able to plot so tomorrow i will give it a try at the office.

Thanks,

Wim

Hi Wim,

yes, the first field in Custom paper size dialog is width, the second - height (read: how long the paper is). Then you can change paper orientation in Page setup dialog, just below paper size drop down list.
