Is anyone else's 2013 running like a dog?
It seems to park itself for a few seconds in between commands (especially zooming or panning) and I get my spinning disc symobol on the screen while it sorts itself out.
It was like a slow server connection, but I tried working direct off my hard disk and it was just the same.
I've reverted back to 2012 meantime, but it would be interesting to see if anyone else has issues.
The mac I'm running is fairly hi spec (iMac Intel Core i7 + 12MB RAM)

Hi Maxim,
I've tried on a few drawings and still getting same delays happening.
It seems to be a 1/2 second delay after each command for some reason.

Hi John,
With AC 2011 I had such problems too, but they gone after replacing HDD. During replacement process I cloned my old HDD to the new one with SuperDuper (as a result of cloning HDD was defragmented - may be this helped, don't know really....)
I also have noticed that if I have Autosave time setting with short period of time (1 min), than during autosave I can see "beachball" effect on large files.

For me, some things are faster. For example, execution of Lisp routines and updating xrefs are great. However, I am experiencing slow-downs. The offset command is now a dog, and I wish I could turn that stupid offset preview off. I also experience annoying delays on some pan and zoom operations using legacy commands. Pan and zooms using gestures don't seem to have a problem. I've only been using it for a couple of days, so I need more time with it. I have not experienced anything like you are describing, though. Maybe your installation got corrupted.

Forgot to mention - the erase command hangs at the end of each deletion, like it is pausing to update the database. Incredibly annoying.

Yes, mine is too. Installed about a week ago and it has become progressively slower.
I'm using a brand new super dooper high spec Dell; so no issues on the hardware front.
I am on the verge of going back to 2012, virtually no difference anyway.
I have to say 2013 is a very uninspiring update, questionable whether it is worth installing or not.

I'm getting the same problem with erase. Spinning wheel of death for 5 seconds after each erase comand. It's unusalbe.

I'm giving 2013 another go and so far it seems to be coping ok, but only when I'm working on smaller graphical drawings.
I did notice that it seemed to drop out when I was hatching. i.e everytime I clicked a new hatch boundary there would be a long pause before it would let me click a new boundary.

I am having major issues with the software running slow. It will take up to 5 minutes to execute a command. I am reverting back to 2012 version. I am running a quad i7 woth 8 gig of mem.
