Hi,

1. From AutoLISP reference:

"(vl-load-com) - This function loads the extended AutoLISP functions provided with Visual LISP."

2. AutoCAD for Mac 2011 doesn't include support for Visual LISP.

3. For details see What AutoCAD features are not available in AutoCAD for Mac:

Goog day!

Is this is same with AutoCAD for Mac 2015? I'm getting the same issue:

vl-load-com not supported on  "Mac OS X Version 10.10 (x86_64)

Is there any substitute that can be used? I'm also getting an error after a .lsp is loaded stating one of the following:

Command: ; error: no function definition: REQUIRE
Command: ; error: no function definition: PROVIDE

Or are Mac users just SOL? lol Thanks!

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
All versions of AutoCAD for Mac doesn't include support for Visual LISP. And the only one way to resolve this is to rewrite routine using plain AutoLISP or ObjectARX.
The two other functions defined inside Virtual LISP routine that was not loaded because of vl-load-com function.
