Hi,

Try this solution: from Menu select Modify -> Object -> Image -> Quality (IMAGEQUALITY command) and select Draft option. This should increase zooming speed.

I tried this solution, but in my case it did not work. My problem persists. In my dwg I have more than a raster image; Zoom dynamic or real-time is almost impossible to use. If I try to open the drawing on a windows xp virtual machine, it works much better. The problem manifests itself with AUTOCAD 2012 for Mac with version 2014

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

What Visual style is current in your drawing?

Try to set it to 2D Wirrframe.
