"Add vertex" issue driving me insane

Does "add vertex" drive anyone else insane? I can never predict on which side of the current vertex it is going to go. It looks like it has to do with the direction in which the PL was drawn, but what if you can't remember that?

Hi,

Yes, you are right - it depends on pline direction, I also have such troubles when use "Add vertex" option from Pline multifunction grips.
In such case (if I see that I can not add vertex to the current end of Pline) I use PEDIT command with Reverse option to reverse the direction of Pline, than use MF grips to add vertex.
