print measures are incorrect

Hi,

I'm student , and use ArchiCAD, I'm testing AutoCAD for MAC, but I have had a big problem. I have a printer Canon Ip4200 and when I print anything the measures are incorrect ??????? I can't understand.

The setting units are in millimeters, the scale is 1:1, when I draw a line in monitor a line of 20.0000 in paper is 9 cm ????

Anyone know something similar??

Thanks

Do you mean when it is PRINTED on PAPER, it is 9cm (90mm) in actual scaled length? 20mm is .7874 inches and 20cm is 7.87402 inches. Somehow, the two dimension you mention don't make sense.

What's your plot scale in the plot/print dialog box?     1:1?

Double check output scale in Print (Page Setup) dialog, don't forget also to unchek "Fit to page" option.

i FINALLY figured out the problem. It was just a matter of readjusting the 'views' settings. The default view setting is sometimes not the 'top' view.

make sure you are working on top view
