layer problem

hello,

 

i have a drawing done in autocad 2011 for windows and when i open it up on my autocad 2011 for mac it only shows the hatch on one layer. i have tried REGEN/REGENALL, switching all the layers off then, freezing-thawing, and saving the drawing to a different location. can anybody help please?
