Trying to Draw basic home layout

Brand new to AutoCad LT 2013 (Mac).

Trying to draw a basic home blueprint.

I got as far as setting to draft mode,  setting units to architectural.

When I go to start drawing the first wall, i find that my page is only 4' wide.

I find the "annotation" scale settings in the tool bar, but where is the project scale?

It won't let me zoom out any further.

4' wide is useless.

Help please.

Totally lost here.

AutoCAD for MAC forum, repost there (or wait and someone might move you there):

It would appear you are drawing in paperspace (aka paper size), and not modelspace (aka, the universe/real world size): may I ask what your level of experience with AutoCAD is? It would help folks here tailor their replies better.

Hi,

Try to REGEN drawing (Menu View -> Regen)
