Toolbars and Menus Missing in AutoCAD LT 2013 for Mac

I intalled AutoCAD LT 2013 for Mac and the Menu Bar (not a ribbon) and the Tool Bars are missing.  When it initiated all of the UI tools were missing, ei command line, status bar, layer, properties, references, etc.  I manually added those components through commands.  But, the Menu bar and Tool Bars are NO Where to be found.  Even when I type in "TOOL" nothing happens.  In addition, after using this for a week, I have crashed it 12 times usually in the middle of a command.  Hot grip use crashes it for example.

Has anyone else encountered these problems?  Found a solution?

Thank you!

Angela

Hi Angela,

Regarding to the menu/tool palette missing, could you please try the steps below:

click AutoCAD LT 2013 menu > Preferences > go to tab Applications > click Reset Application Options button

About the crashes, did you send out the crash report? If so, please let me know what email you input when sent the report.

And please let me know the version of your AutoCAD. You can get it by click menu AutoCAD LT 2013 > About AutoCAD LT 2013

Thanks,
Wei

I am also having the same problem. I have tried resetting the application options. It seems to make no difference. I have no menu and no tools in the tool palette.

Did you reinstall your autocad?

If reset does not work, maybe there are some permission problems.

Please try this solution:

Thanks,

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
Please tell what EXACTLY did you do?
If you trashed
~home\Library\Application Support\Autodesk\roaming\AutoCAD LT 2013 Standalone folder, than it is possible to find your macros in the Trash. So don't empty your Trash, instead go to it and copy all files with .CUI extension to the safe place.
Then report here.

Hi there,

This has just happened to me on the 2015 version. The attached screen grab is the only menu I have. Do I need to 'reset Autocad', 'Reset palettes' or remove from my computer and reinstall? I'm worried about losing my settings.

Thanks

Ruth

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Ruth,

Which settings do you mean?
Can you describe in more details how this happened?

Resetting palettes should not affect any settings you've made, but this possibly will not help.
Resetting AutoCAD will remove all menu and command customizations.

I've just reinstalled Autocad and it's worked – sorry, probably should have tried that first. Thanks very much for the swift response.

Hi Maxim,

One more query – since reinstalling I'm now getting this error when I go to print (attached). Any ideas how I resolve it?

Many thanks
