Properties Inspector : useless

Hi, I'm using Autocad 2013 for Mac on an up-to-date MacBook Pro with OSX 10.8.4

When I select an objet, the properties inspector palette show me a bunch of useless informations - visual styles, sun & sky, render, causing the general informations (layer, color, lineweight, linetype ) to be down. It's really annoying to have to scroll down each time I select an objet to change its layer. I have tried RESETPALETTES and searched the preferences and CUI.

Strangely, the tabs "essentials" and "all" show me the same properties.

Can somebody help me ?

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Could you post screenshots of AutoCAD drawing window with Properties Inspector:

- when no object selected

- when one object selected

- when multiple objects selected

Please expand Prop Inspector as much as possible.

Hey Maxim, thanks for the reply. Here you go !

With nothing selected :

One objet selected :

Multiple elements selected :

As you can see, general informations come third or fourth as it may be when the tab "all" is selected. In fact, I think the problem is about these tabs. When I click on "essentiel", it flashes and go back to "all".

Thanks

Yes, I see the problem.

Do you have this problem from first installation?

I have one idea:

As I see you are from France (or French speaking country). And you have regional settings in Mac OS System preferences for France. Why don't you use French version of AutoCAD?

It seems that Properties Inspector issues could be cased by International settings in OS (Language and Region).

But this is only my thoughts, maybe I'm not right.

This problem appeared recently. I don't remember doing anything special though, in the language or preferences panel.. In fact I'm from Québec, but I learned Autocad in english so I prefer using it this way, it's easier for the shortcuts and the commands.

If I'm courageous I'll try to reinstall it...

Thanks
