Problems with SPACE as Enter/return

I'm finding a few issues when using SPACE as the enter

For expample when I go to copy something I will;

COPY (space) - Select an object (space)

The second space seems to cancel the command instead of moving on to ask for basepoint or displacement

It only does this intermittantly and I can work around it by using Rightclick on the mouse instead of (space) after I select the object(s)

Is this a common issue?

Following some help from Auotdesk I had to reset the SUBOBJSELECTIONMODE to 0, and SELECTIONCYCLING to 0.

this fixed my problem.
