PDF export issues

Whenever I export pdfs, the lines randomly move position, size, change weight or disappear, particularly curves. Can some tell me if there's a way around this problem? Images attached thanks.

It appears that your print settings wrong somewhere. But I can not say anything without having original DWG.

Do you mean the actual DWG or a screen shot? I haven't changed the print settings since installation. Screenshots of the original drawing in Autocad attached:

Hi,

Look for my results in attachment. I think they are exactly like in DWG.

Nothing special.

I have HP DesignJet 450 plotter (Gutenprint drivers) configured on my Mac. You can search my posts here on Forums about configuration details.

In AutoCAD I just make Page setup (paper size, what to plot, scale, etc.) and either batch publish to PDF or simply open PDF in Preview and save PDF there.

What plotter (printer) do you have on your Mac?

I don't actually have a plotter personally, I tend to use one of the university printers so don't print from autocad, usually I export the pdf to illustrator for presentation layout first. I just export pdf's by file-export-pdf-display/extents. If tried exporting via layout manager - same issues though.

Hi,

So you want to say that you have no System printers on your Mac.
Have you tried my suggestion about installing Gutenprint drivers?

Yes thats right. I do have a standard canon a4 printer with drivers installed though.

So my strong advice is to install Gutenprint driver, add one of the plotters supported by Gutenprint driver (as I wrote before, I use HP DesignJet 450 model), and use it when you output to PDF from AutoCAD.
