Hi,
I have 2 questions.
1) Is there a way that I can control the line thickness of the PDF underlay? I notice that when I pan around the very thin lines appear for the pdf, as soon as I stop, the line thickness comes back. Could I disable line thickness for a PDF underlay?
2) Can anyone recommend from their experience a good PDF to autocad file converting software for the MAC?
Thanks in advance!
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
1) You can not control thickness in PDF underlay, you can only turn ON or OFF Layers (if any) in PDF, switch color/monochrome mode and snap to elements in PDF.
2) Personally I use two applications:
- Inkscape - free, but it can only export PDF to DXF and it export only lines, circles and polylines, text objects and fills doesn't converted to DXF
- Adobe Illustrator - not free, but it can open PDF files natively and save DXF and DWG format directly and can export text to DWG
EDIT: forget to mension about pdf2cad application which you can find in MAS, but it is also not free and I have not tried it, but the review in MAS does not inspire:
