Macbook Air autocad 2011 does not open

Hi,

I have just purchased autocad 2011 for mac and installed it onto my imac, everything fine.

I have also intalled it onto my macbook air but the programe will not open, does any one have any ideas on how to solve this?

Hi,

If you have MacBook air with NVidia 320 graphics, and your OS is OS X 10.7 (Lion) - then you could not run AutoCAD, even if you will install Update3 beta:

"AutoCAD 2011 for Mac fails to launch on a computer that contains a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 or 320M graphics card when running Mac OS X Lion."

so if it was 320 with leopard or snow leopard would be ok?

(also mean that if it's work i can't upgrade to lion?)

Hi,

For now Beta3 of Update3 for AC 2011 for Mac available for testing at:

With this Beta3 AC 2011 should work with Lion.

Not sure about final Update3, but looks like it will be alive soon.
