Lines merge

There does not seem to be a Lines Merge option within the Plot / Print dialogue box

The only work around seems to be to use display order to ensure lines, etc. get printed over shaded hatch patterns, etc.

Is the line merge option hidden somewhere else?

Any body ever figure this one out?  Display order does not work when you're in paperspace and what to be behind objects in model space...

Thanks,

Hi Gregory,

On PC (Windows) the option of Lines Merge comes from printer (plotter) driver, not from AutoCAD.

If printer (plotter) software on Mac supports this function, then you can control it in AutoCAD too.

That's my thoughts.

Maxim...  Thanks for the tip, but I can't seem to find that window.

Having said that, I was able to find a work around...  After you send to back in model space, in the print options you un-check the "print paper space last" dialog box and it sends everyting in paper space to the back!

line merge is not the same thing as draworder
line merge works in paperspace
Dialog Box plot of PCmac has not option to merge line, in the same plotter PCwin
