Line weights changing when the layout is exported to pdf. Please help!

Hi,

I am new to auto cad and I am trying to export a plan to pdf. In the layout viewpoint the line weights look fine but everytime I export it to a pdf, it changes some of the line weights (in what seems like a really random way!). Even some lines of the same layer suddenly get different line weights. I would even be happy if I could just get all the line weights to be very thin! Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening? I have attached the pdf document so you can see the bizarre line weights.

Many thanks

Hi,

How do you set lineweights in your drawing?

Do you use custom Plot style (CTB) or you set them only via Layer properties?

If latter, then check that all objects in DWG have lineweight property set "by layer"
