HOW DO I ATTACH OR PLACE AN IMAGE?

Hi all,

I want to place an image (jpeg) onto my dwg so I can trace around it (then delete it), I cannot see any option of uploading ANYTHING on the tool panel

and have tried the command IMAGEATTACH and that didnt work!

I'm completely new to this MAC version therefore need an explanation in the simplest of terms 🙂 Please help!

Thanks,

Lindsey

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi Lindsey,

IMAGEATTACH command works for me just fine:

Command: IMAGEATTACH
Specify insertion point <0,0>:
Base image size: Width: 1.000000, Height: 0.750000, Millimeters
Specify scale factor <1>:

How do you call this command?

Have you tried select from menu: Insert -> Raster Image Reference ?

Maxim

Can you not drag and drop you image file over your open AutoCAD file? Does the MAC version not have that simple ability?
