Faded Layer

Hello,

Recently any layer that I have a grey line colour assigned to has started showing up faded. These are active layers, not locked or xref'd but they are showing up as a faded xref would. And advice on how to get them to show up normally again?

Thanks!

sarah

Hi Sarah,

Hard to say vithout having your file vith such issue. Could you post it here? You can erase most part of the drawing, but leave some objects on problem layers.

Just a thought:
Could be an effect of Transparency assigned to the Layer. Look for Transparency setting for the Layer in Properties palette.

Here'e the file. The layer that is causing me the most grief is the A-Equip layer.

Okay, I see. Does transparency affect the way a layer plots?

Yes, if you check "Print Transparency" in Page setup.
