Drag regen very slow

I have AutocadLT for Mac. I select an item for copying or move and the regeneration of the selected item when dragging is now extremelly slow. It started happening after I downloaded the new Mavorick system. Is there a way to fix this?

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Which version of AutoCAD LT do you have? 2013 or 2014?

If it is 2013, then it is not compatible with Mavericks. You do not have to update the OS until new SP will be ready.

If it is 2014, then check DRAGP1 system variable, by default it should be 5000, try to decrease number and look how it help you (with DRAGP1=0 you will not see anything when you copy-move objects).

I have 2013 and already downloaded the Maverick. The problem started after
I downloaded the new operating system.

Hi Rick,

You shouldn't have done it, AC 2013 for Mac still not compatible with Mavericks.

Now you can only try to install Beta 1 of Service Pack 2 for AC 2013 for Mac:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-for-Mac/AutoCAD-2013-for-Mac-SP2-Beta-is-available/td-p/455998...

and see if it helps to resolve the issues.

Maxim,

I appreciate the prompt response. I will download the suggested platform
and hope for the best. Meanwhile, will the 2013 AC LT for Mac app
eventually catch up with the new Maverick system or should I just wait
until the 2014 upgrade becomes available for Mac users? Assuming it is
available now, should that also solve the problem?

Again, thank you

Hi Rick,

Sorry, but it seems I'm confused with my advice to install Beta 1 of SP2 for AC for Mac, because you have LT (as I recall now), but SP is only for the full version of AutoCAD foe Mac.
Sorry again.
About your last question: yes, AC LT 2014, that is available now is fully compatible with Mavericks.
