Disappeared "Edit Page Setup" Dialogue Box

Hi,

I am unable to modify print prefferences due to the "Edit Page Setup" box failing to appear. The app runs as if the dialog is present (can't edit and menu bar is greyed out, but the box is nowhere to be found.

- Edit Page Set-up...: The print dialog shows up, but when I select the "Edit Page Setup..." button the app runs in a mode as if the box is there but it can't be seen. Hitting escape brings me back to the original print dialog box.

Things I've explored with no succes:

- checked all spaces

- hidden or closed all other windows

- permission repair

- tried on multiple dwg files

- Clean Screen mode

- hide all pallettes

- rebooting

-reinstalling Autocad

HELP!

Any thoughts?

Thank you in Advance,

Sidra

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Which AutoCAD do you have and which OS is running on your Mac?

It is inside ~/Library/Preferences folder - the Library folder is in your Home folder, not in the root of Mac HD, where you are looking for it now.
Library folder inside Home folder is hidden by default, to open it you need to select Go menu in Finder while you hold Option key - than it will appear in menu.

This is one of the Mavericks compatibility issues we fixed in AutoCAD 2013 for Mac SP2. Please click menu AutoCAD 2013 > check for updates to get the latest version. Thanks, Wei

So it sounds like I had a similar issue, and I suspect that it was because I had connected the laptop to a monitor which probably messed up the view window screen resolution

I recovered it by going into my System Preferences / Displays / and Scaled it to 1024 x 640, checked AutoCad if I could view the "Edit Page Setup" window, and then went back to System Preferences and switched the Display back to "Best for Display"

It seems to have worked for now...

Shig01!

You are totally right!!! You are a genious!!

I was wondering why yesterday it worked and today not!!

And that's it: something to do with the retina display...of course!! If you use Airplay, probably that is the problem!

Solved for me!!

😄

It looks like Mavericks issue with AutoCAD 2013. Have you installed SP2 for AC 2013 for Mac? It should solve the problem.

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

Hi Angie,

All you need is to install all service packs for AutoCAD 2013.

You can use menu AutoCAD -> Check for updates

or download and install updates from here:

SP1 (just in case, because I think you already have it installed):

SP2:

SP3:

Hi,

Can you specify your macOS version and AutoCAD version?
