DIAGONAL LINES APPEAR IN TRANSPARENT HATCHES

When I create transparent solid hatches, diagonal lines appear, following the shapes of triangles that AutoCAD uses to draw the solid hatches. These lines appear in both the preview and when plotting directly to our HP DesignJet 1055CM Plus plotter (ie skipping the pdf viewer). How do I get rid of these lines? 

We are trying to overlay transparent hatches over other hatches to indicate shadows over tinted objects on an elevation.

Hi,

Yes, you are right, there is such bug in AutoCAD for Mac (since 2011 release).

Maxim, sorry for the late response. Yes, your work around did the trick and saved the day. We were able to create a great looking presentation and met our deadline thanks to you. If you're not on AutoDesk's payroll, you should be, or at least have some honorary title like "AutoCAD guru".

I am experiencing the same diagonal lines issue. I am using AutoCAD 2016. Despite going through your workaround suggestion, eg. setting the gradient hatch to fill with 2-identical colors, in conceptual visual style, these diagonal lines are still shown and printing in the 3d objects. The blue component of the pallet is on its own layer with a 70% transparency. The rest of the components are on another layer with its own 70% transparency (see screen dump). When printed, the result is identical. I have tried printing with "Nitro pro" as well as directly with the other options such as "Microsoft to pdf" or "dwg to pdf" print options (yes, with transparency ticked).

All the pallet-components in the enclosed example drawing are part of an Xref object (that should not be the cause of this issue). I am attaching a few screen dumps of the 3d object and the various settings. Perhaps you see something out of the ordinary?
