My old relaiable IMAC crashed last month....and I had to buy a new IMAC. My Autocad for mac 2011 ran ok on my old IMAC....although the graphics card finally got "fried" while I was working in Autocad for Mac 2011. I am not sure the "frying" was related to what I was doing, but it sure seemed suspicious.
Anyway, Now I have Autocad for Mac 2011 loaded onto my new IMAC. I am using Mac OSx, version 10.7.4....I guess that is Lion ? And the autocad keeps crashing. I tried installing "update 1"...and it would NOT install. The error message said my copy of autocad can not be updated. "Update 2" will not install, because Update 1 has not been installed. And "update 3" will not install because "update 1" and "update 2" are not installed.
So what do I do ? Is there a way to get 2011 working with Lion ? Or am I stuck....and just have to bite the bullet and upgrade my autocad.
