Autocad LT 2014 and Adobe InDesign CC causes computer to freeze.

We are a small business running Autocad lt 2014 for Mac and Adobe InDesign Creative Cloud.  We are running Mavericks on mac mini machines (maxed out ram to 16GB).  We are not able to run these two pieces of software simultaneously without the computer freezing up.  To remedy the situation I have to do a hard restart and can only run either autocad or InDesign at the same time.  Also if we try to launch Autocad from the application, we freeze the system as well (spinning multicolor wheel).  However, if we double click on a drawing file (.dwg) the software opens fine and we're able to work on it.  Any thoughts?  Is this an OS problem, an Autodesk problem, or perhaps a Creative Cloud issue?

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Have you installed SP1 for AutoCAD LT 2014?

Strange...
I worked on Mac mini 5,2 (mid 2011 with AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics card) with 16 Gb RAM with small graphics slowdown when I switched with Mission Control between opened AutoCAD, AI and Photoshop (CC), but never had situation when I have to restart all system in order to unfreeze it.
