Just upgraded both operating system and autocad lt version. Feel a bit like a canary in a coal mine but wanted to be current.
Problem I'm having is that Autocad runs extremely slow between commands, and it consequently slows down even my web browsers. I'm on a new 8 gig iMac running on an intel core i5. I've installed the update pack and tried what I know to help speed it up, but nothing has helped.
Grown incredibly frustrated with both products, and was hoping someone had some ideas or at the least a feeling that I'm not alone in the problem.
Ok, you say you have upgraded both, so what
Mac Os did you have before
AutoCAD did you have before
On your previous installation did your set up work ok?
Just to ask, are you running Mac Autocad or windows parallels (and Win AutoCAD)?
Does this happen on new empty drawings or is it worse on larger files, is there alot of hatching etc?
If the drawing is heavy, have you purged, saved and tried again?
