AutoCad for mac 2014 crashes always

Hi,

I use Autocad dor mac 2014 with a OSX.9.1 (Mavericks) and I have some recurent problems. The program crashes when I select any tools, but it's not regular. Perhaps with tools like selection/copy/move, perhaps with tools of design like lines/circle, ... Today this happens approximatly every 10 minutes. I've try to restart te computer, to close every other programs but it's still the same. I became crazy because I can't ever know when it will happen!

Please help me! :'(

André

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,
How complex are the DWG files you working with?
Does this happens even with new empty drawings?
Could you post here your Mac specifications?
How many RAM do you have on your Mac?

Maxim

Hi,

The files are generaly files not so heavy. It can't happen with a absolutely empty file, because it happens only when I choose a new tool, so I've yet craeted min. 1 line or first serie of line. I need to say that I use autocad only in 2D with files without any informations of 3D.
There is the specification of my mac.

However, when I used Autocad 2012 with OSX.8 I never had any problem...

PS: I use the education program.

Very strange behavior.
Does this happens since initial installation?
Have you tried to reset AutoCAD options (on Application tab of AutoCAD Preferences dialog)
Have you tried to enable dedicated graphics card and work with it?
Do you have enough free space on your HDD?

Maxim
