Background - I've got a new Mac and I had migrated some files and applications (including AutoCAD 2013 student version) from my old Mac to my new one. Initially it wouldn't install because the I already had a copy of AutoCAD on the old Mac. I uninstalled it and restarted both macs. Then I successfully reinstalled it on the new Mac.
However, now it won't launch. I get an error message "Folders on your computer that AutoCAD needs access to are not available...". I tried the work-around suggested by Autodesk:
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=16276182&linkID=15839490
(renaming a system file created by FLEXnet, the software Autodesk uses for licencing), but this doesn't work as the orginal files to be renamed don't exist on the system.
Do you have any ideas? Thanks

Hi,
I think one of the ways could be to transfer your AutoCAD license from old Mac to the new one with License Transfer Utility:
