AutoCAD 2013 Mac License Transfer Utility Does not Work

Any tips for using the LTU with AutoCAD 2013 for Mac?

I have not been able to successfully launch the LTU at all.  I double click it to open it, and Terminal opens then seems to run a script that launches a generic app icon that bounces briefly and then quits.  I then get a message in Terminal that states....

6631:server starting (internal)...
6631:Deleting Translator Cache
6631:server shutting down...
6631: ==== Closing Conduit for 6631 (init:0, readers:0, writers:0)
logout

[Process completed]

Any ideas?

Don't worry.  It doesn't work on any platform.  Smiley Very Happy

Do you especially need to use it?  Typically the EULA will allow you a 2nd activation on a home or portable computer for most purposes.  Also, if you're just reactivating on a replacement computer, just activate it as you normally would.

Yes, I definitely need the LTU to work.... it works just fine on Windows, and always has for me.

It is an advertised (and critical) feature of a very expensive piece of software.  It should work.

Can anyone with AutoCAD 2013 for Mac at least attempt to open the LTU for me?  I'm curious if the app will even open for anyone.

OK, just tested it.

Works in my case:

well.... that's upsetting.

Not sure what might be the issue then, but at least it gives me hope that it is capable of working.

Gonna remove all traces of AutoCAD 2013 and reinstall and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the info!

Check also connection related issues - proxy, firewall etc.

thanks. will do.

not sure why that would prevent the app from opening at all, but you never know it seems.
