I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ADDING HATCHES, NEITHER WINDOWS NOR MAC, SO I NEED A GOOD TUTORIAL FOR MAC.

If you copy the PAT files into one of AutoCAD's support folders, AutoCAD should be able to find them.
To find your support folders, start AutoCAD and choose preferences from the AutoCAD application menu. Click on "Application" on the left and then click the triangle disclosure next to "Support File Search Path". You can even add a new folder if you want to keep your PAT files separate!
Another way to do this is to simply bring up the Hatch Library in AutoCAD for Mac, under the pull-down choose "Add Patterns" and then select your PAT file from the dialog.
Hope that helps.
