Acad LT for Mac (from app store): adding hatch patterns???

I have seen various posts on how to change the .pat files to increase hatch options (basically add some additaional hatch patterns), however, I cannot seem to locate the files. Are they hidden?

I've tried going through the "prefences" within the autocad programme, and it seems to show me a aupport path, presumably to the .pat files (and maybe others too), but when I try and follow that same path outside of autocad, through Finder, the path can't be followed as shown, and is basically a dead end.

Does ACAD LT for Mac actually use .pat files? Should I be looking for something else? And can I even add a hatch pattern in ACAD LT for Mac?

If someone could help, it might save my hair!!
