this is a old plast that im reposting because i didnt get a responce on one of the other forums
Hi iv just upgraded to building design suite from just autocad. We used to use trueview to take any extra dims required throughout manufactur, very useful tool however since using ASD we can open and look at the working drawings (layout tabs) but cant take dims they all come out to the scale witch doesn't help much (eg 10mm plate comes up at 1mm times by the scale 1:8 comes out at 8mm). any thoughts on how to overcome this many thanks
