locking views

I am currently having a difficult time with locking the dimensions in views after they are on the drawing sheets. I had a bunch of assemblies detailed in paper space, and then went to edit some hole locations in model space. I then went back to paper space, after I edited them and my views weren’t dimensioned correctly.( all the viewports were moved and the original layout detail appears)

I tried to lock all of the views, but it doesn’t seem to show up to verify if they are locked for
sure. Is it possible to lock the views so I don’t lose work eveytime I edit
something in model space?
