is there a way to detail plates & single parts with out breaks / shortening on the drawing.

There should be a parts shortening checkbox in your dimension style dialog. Just make sure that it is unchecked and the parts should detail without shortening.

I try as you said, but i'm get break in the plates and single parks is other settings that need to be checked or unchecked.
