I have a AutoCAD 3D model consisting of 3D solid objects. Is it possible to convert this model to an ASD model so I can create assemblies, etc, to produce fabrications drawings? Can anyone tell me the general procedure for this?
As far as I know, it is not possible to convert 3D solid objects to ASD objects. The 3D solids do not contain the information (Material, section, etc. ) that ASD requires. If you ever find a way to do this, please let me know.
