Rounded Plate and bolts

I am trying to add bolts to a steel tank structure, and I am sure there is a faster more efficient way ( I hope ) to do this.

I have added a render of the tank with some bolts in it.

Each panel is bolted together ( shown )

and angles offset bolted to the panels ( shown with partal bolting )

Currently I have had to rotate the entire model, then add bolts/holes

for each of the panels, which wasn't too bad.

but for the angles... each angle has 21 holes and there are 8 angles, and rotating the model

168 times and adding a couple bolts ( top and bottom angles ) is just not good.

I have tried coping bolts but they do not rotate.

any ideas?

An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you know and what you don't.

Unfortunatly to keep all the 'intelligent' data, I have to rotate the model for each bolt...

If there is a repetitive detail, I usually add bolts to that element and copy that element with bolts around. Then I just use adapt bolts.
