    Properties of Aluminum Shapes

I noticed while calculating the weight of an aluminum ramp structure that the weights for aluminum shapes are not correct. For example L2x2x1/4 6061-T6 is 1.11# per foot. ASD says it is 3.19# per foot. Which happens to be the weight for A36.

I believe this is the same for the rest of the shapes as well.

Is there a way around this? Even if I have to copy a database to a new name and modify values. I have lots of aluminum work to do here.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I thought my general weight of aluminum seemed heavy too...  glad to see someone look into it.

Auotdesk?  Any support here?  How about the Stainless maybe too?
