Plate summary tables

I need to create a table on my part detail drawings that shows which assemblies the part is used in and the quantity required for each assembly. Currently I can create a table that shows the total quantity and gives a list of assemblies but can't show the quantities and assemblies on separate rows.

I've attached some screen shots of the table layout I have currently and how I want it set up.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do not have any idea how to manage such gap in table abilities.

Only I can suggest is assebly table with listing of parts table.

You can create a table in which to have the Assembly and the parts of that assembly.

Export the Table to an Excell format

Create an Excell template with what you need.

Apply the template to the table exported from ASD or just copy the information.

Insert the Excell in final drawings.

Also you can set summary table parameters -> sum data by columns.

Then it makes you additional columns with Assembly position and quantity of parts in it.

Thanks for the responses, but I still can't create the table I need.

As I’m adding a table to a single part drawing any assembly table I add is empty.

Therefore I've been using the plate summary table. In the Plate summary table the option 'sum data by columns' is inactive.

I've included a screen shot showing this. I've also created a custom table to show how I want the table to look.

It is only I could manage.

As assembly summary so can not be done for individual plate - so rather not useful for large projects.
