AISC and AWS require that beams be coped notch free with a minimum 1/2" radius in the cope cuts but the macros all trim the notches with a square cut. What is the best way to modify these cuts to have the required radius?

If I understand the shape of this treatment is probably only fit a polyline could help you with this.

The above response did not answer my question. I need a way to cope the flanges of beams at single shear plate and bolted clip angle connections. The standard macro’s just fit the flanges with a square corner but the US codes do not allow this square re-entrant corner. The fit must have a minimum ½” radius. This means that I will need to go in and change each one by hand after creating the connections. Is there a better way?
