Memory and performance

HAs anyone got any comments on how autocad handles performance of a structure model as it increases in size.

For me the larger my model gets the slower Autocad is until a point where it is almost unusable.

I'm even having to split the model into smaller ones to keep up performance.

Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated

Tony

I seen the same issue. I now have installed 24gb DDR3 ram and it is much better. How much ram you have? You using 64bit Windows?

If you use  ASD2012, you should install the AutoCAD 2012 performance slowdown hotfix (32/64 bits)

Is there one of these for ASD 2014? I have the best workstation available and performance is far less then would be expected.
