Lag big files

I'm an student of engineering. I did some tests with big files (over 40 mb) in ASD. But crashes, slows a lot (in 3d orbit with 2D wireframe visual style and visual style pan with realistc). With very good computer (i7, 16 GB ram, gtx 680 ...). The ASD use a file "dwg" and another "$ bc". Should distribute multiple files the extension. As used by other programs.

1-What is going on?
2-Autodesk is working in this situation?

please see some old posts here, this is one of many problems of ASD: solids.

For example:

-structures 500 tons on ASD: files up to 40 mb.

-structures 500 tons in other software: files or folders less than 10 mb.

I have sent you a response wich was removed (here). Many people divide their big project into small projects to obtain lighter files.

It's the best of the worst ways.

I've managed to model a 1500 ton structure in ONE file using 2D wireframe on 8 GB RAM. The secret is always to delete the drawings you've generated from the model. The clean model dwg file is only 35 MB. Also I displayed on screen 3 views of the model, TOP VIEW, ISOMETRIC and SIDE VIEW so that I was not compelled to rotate the 3D view.

Correct, the problem is in the software. The ASD 2014 are working to correct this error???
