I had been working on a file for a few days without any issue. Then, I came in this morning and can't open the file without getting the error listed in the subject. This same error now happens to the .bak file and to the autosave files from almost a week ago even though I have succefully opened a backup file within those dates just yesterday. It's like out of nowhere this whole project is no longer able to open. I have tried reinstalling ASD with no change.
Any ideas?

This same error occurs when trying to open with Design Review or DWG TrueView. I also could not get the DWG to DWF converter to install on my 64 bit computer. Is there any way to recover these files? What would have made all of them bad files over night? It just doesn't make sense.
You could post the files here. I will try to open them in my ASD. If everething goes well, then it is you computer.
Wish I could, but I'm dealing with proprietary information and can't risk it. I am going to try the old fresh install of windows and see what happens.
The same error is actually dicussed in a german autodesk discussion group,
You also find a sample file (DWG 2013) which produces the error.
Made with AutoCAD Architecture 2013.

Already tested on serveral computers - always the same error.

I just experienced the same problem. Lost a week's worth of work. Is there anything I can do? Recover doesn't work on the .dwg, .bak. or .ac$ files either.
Any solutions? Same problem here. Files in backup are partially broken. We can open them, but copying every element to a new file reproduces the crash. Copying a single, simple element will work, but the dwg-file has a size of 3MB. We use AutoCAD Mechanical 2013 on Win7 64bit.
Hello,
Has anyone determined the cause / solution for this issue?
I have 28 workstations, we just rolled out 2013 and received the first error like this today.
Thank you in advance for any information that may prevent further issues.
Michael

Were you using Vault to check drawing in or out when you got the !saveres.cpp@154 error?
Hi, do you think you could help recover my drawing as well? I have put tons of time in to this project, and was working on it as recently as this moring. Now, suddenly the drawing refuses to open. I have tried every AutoCAD recovery method that I can pssobily think of, NOTHING works. Every single time I attempt to open it, I get the same "Internal Error: !saveres.cpp@154: eFilerError" message.
Please help! Anyone would truly be a life saver if they can recover this file for me. It is a shame work can be in jeopardy this easily on CAD. The drawing is attached.
