The error ocurre when the elements in revit do not have the same description as the ASD data base. Those elemente do not get imported :-(. A workarround will be to create from ASD the elements that I will use in my project . . then export this elements to revit as cis then I can have acces to the same properties in the revit file . . . here come the bad thing . . . then I just have to re-aply the element sizes . . . to much work . . there must be a work arround . . . thanks for the help

    Regards,
    Carlos

    Hello,

You have to first update ASD. Open ASD go in file menu/Steel/Project Preferences/Profiles/click inverted T shape for adding AISC shape/OK.
Now you can import your file & there will be no error.

    Thanks,
