AutoCAD Structural Detailing

I'm completely new to ASD and am working through the tutorial in the Getting Started Guide. I can only get as far as page 19, because when i try to copy the connection, the circle does not appear to select it.

Is there a variable to be changed, or this an issue.

Also, where are the best tutorials.

Hi

1) Use wireframe and zoom very close to the connection.

2) Regen

Please make sure that setting in Preferences looks like shown in attached movie.
