ASD - Clip Angle - Beam/Column Web - DOuble Sided connection macro

I would like to add a Clip Angle - Beam/Column Web - Double Sided connection, but whenever I select the members ASD tells me the selected profiles don't meet the criteria. my members are defined as beam and column families. am I missing something else??

Sometimes it doesn't understand the web and thinks its the flange.

Hi,

How do i get around this issue?

i had to do the following;

wblock the model to a new drawing,

constantly purge all to keep the drawing clean because ASD creates blocks and layernames automatically.
