ASD - BBS Bend Deduction

Hi Sir,

In ASD we are using real length for BBS calculations so we got 3D deduction for each bend

but in stirupps calculation we don't want this bend deduction.

Kindly clarify how to do that.

This setting is overall for elevation bars and stirrups unfortunately.

Hi Jacub,

As using real length it is deducting 3d for each bend but as per IS Code we require below deduction

4d for above 25 Dia and 3d For rest.

Hi Jacub,

As per IS Code 2502 Page No. 13, Stirupps Length calculation is wrong.

Formula is 2(A+E)+24d (Inner dimention) No deduction require.
