2012 Grates Spreading Auto. Drawings

I'm having a problem trying to detail some grates. I have the spread in the model, all the pcs. have positions assigned. If I create a document or auto drawings, absolutly nothing is detailed? I tried creating a new template and using it. Nothing, is there a special trick to getting grates detailed?

Any insight is very much appriciated.

Thanks,

Mark

I have the grates working now but I'd like to know if I can somehow have the detail include the brg. bars direction. Also, it would be nice to actually add a value like, "19-W-4" .

Anyone??

Can I edit the database to reflect the correct weights of the grate based on my supplier specs?

Is there a class I can sign up for to learn to do this? I need to extend my ASD2012 beyond stock installed use.

This issue still exists in 2014. Is there any plan to resolve?

All Autodesk plans are "top secret", in particular as regards to ASD. :smileywink:
